Inlays
aci offers an array of materials which may be incorporated,
or "inlaid" into your concrete casting. Some of
these materials include: stainless steel, copper,
glass, fossils, special aggregate, and stainless
steel shavings. This attention to detail can add
an artistic element to your piece, thus, bringing
it to "life."
Custom Blended Concrete
aci has developed our own custom blended concrete
formula which reaches a ratio of 9,500 psi (pounds
per square inch). Each proportion is individually
weighed on a highly accurate digital scale to ensure
consistency in color and strength. We combine specially
blended and washed sands and aggregates, cement,
pozzlans, pigments, and plasticizers.
Warm and Natural Countertops
Pre-cast concrete countertops have become the favored
choice among designers and architects over the out-dated
choices of granite, marble or corian. More creative
possibilities exist with concrete for both form
and color. Rich, warm tones can be achieved and
integrate well with the popularity of natural materials
such as wood and stone. Hand-finished concrete countertops
have an extraordinary finish as smooth as glass,
and a patina which continues to improve over the
years.
Shape and Form
No other material can match the creative freedom
and form presented by concrete. It lends itself
to be sculptured and shaped; its molds only limited
by the imagination of you and our designers.
Curing
aci properly wet cures all pieces under insulated
plastic blankets ensuring optimum strength and durability
in each piece.

surfaces with a beautiful polished finish you will
